The human side of the gathering of online students was one to be remembered. I had two women spending the night in my place for two nights. I loved the extra special camaraderie of the close-knit living space.
Beforehand I let everyone know that I do not drink coffee; therefore, I do not have a coffeemaker. So, when my roomies got here, they were sure to set up their coffee pots, which were on high alert the entire weekend. I am sure that those Spirits who reside with me on a regular basis were thrilled with the smell of it. In fact, I’m sure some on-again, off-again Spirits stopped by for an occasional whiff. I showed my roomies how the shower worked, and they discussed it later to be sure. I may have forgotten to mention that it’s a small cubicle and when I say small – shaving one’s legs is a no. They did not complain. They were definitely quick showers, though. That first night I tried to sleep on the air mattress in the front room, my reading room. Not that anyone was scared to sleep there, but I am sure they were thankful not to be – I have at least one portal in that room. I did not sleep that night, maybe an hour. The six of us did class activities in the morning. I donated four readings to the Camp for Gala Day and then came back for more activities. The next night the person in my bed and I shared the space. The other roomie was on top of another mattress on the floor. She commented that I would be hearing my bedmate snore. Those were the last words or noise that I heard until morning, thankfully. For two nights and one afternoon, the group spent class time in the Séance Room at Colby Memorial Temple, which was written about in last week’s blog. On Saturday night we came back to my place to discuss happenings. We noted that my large pink lady painting, which was created by my master spiritual teacher, changed to a shade of purple. Divine! In the midst of everything else, my roomies decided to go check out the Lake Helen-Cassadaga Cemetery. Upon their return, one asked if there was someone from the Camp in that cemetery, someone that I knew. She said he told her to talk to me. She showed me a photo of the gravestone. It read: Donald A. Zanghi, my second Spiritual teacher in Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp. I was pleased to know that two of the students ran into him. I so cannot wait to have another gathering. It is sure to be as special as this one. Blessings of Peace and Love

Six of my online advanced mediumship students came to visit me at Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp last weekend. We did classwork in my office and spent four days in the Séance Room at Colby Memorial Temple. The Séance Room was built at the same time as the Temple – 1923.
Can you imagine that energy? It was fabulous. We did transfiguration the first night, and actually heard footsteps within the room – made my hair stand up on my arms. And everyone heard them, which makes it true phenomenon. Yes, life does exist in other realms. When experiences happen to you, believe. Transfiguration includes sitting under a red light while others look on. The face changes because ectoplasm is exuding from eyes, ears, nostrils and mouth. Everyone sees the changes. Try it yourself. Get in your bathroom, cover the white light that comes through the cracks, turn off the light, light a candle and watch your face change in the mirror. After that first night in the Séance Room, I sent a text to one person to see if she had been walking across the church platform, which is on the other side of the wall. She had not. I checked with three others the next day, nope. Super exciting! You have to be a skeptic. The next night we did channeling. There are various levels of channeling. When I do a reading as a psychic medium, I channel – some call it a light channel. Another type of channeling is trance. It’s when one leaves their body and allows spirit to come in. Several channeled but one really comes to mind. Out of nowhere and in a different voice she spoke loudly: ‘I can see all of you. Do you see the children?’ Someone responded: ‘Yes, are they your children?’ The woman channeling looked straight at the woman who asked the question and said: ‘They are all our children.’ Next, there was huge noise. It sounded like the building was collapsing. Students were scared and said things like: ‘What the hell.’ Next thing I know I got a text and this time it was someone who forgot I was having a class in the Séance Room. The commotion changed the energy. We finished off on a good note, though. The next day was table tipping. We did get some movement, but not like I normally have in the past. The table moved, creaked, had waves of energy going through it. One student noted that the room seemed to be spinning. And on Monday four of us sat in the Séance Room and dabbled with the table – same as the day before. I really do have some interesting theories around that but won’t go into detail here. We also channeled. I love the Séance Room. It really is proving the continuity of life, which is Spiritualism. Can’t wait for the next gathering. I see one more blog about the weekend. Lots to share. Blessings of Peace and Love The other day my 9-month-old granddaughter, Persephone crawled, stood in front of me and balanced on her own two feet. I was amazed. I could see my daughter, Sydney, out of the corner of my eye. She smiled at my amazement.
It won’t be long, and Persephone will takeoff running. Get that girl a helmet! A month or so before that, my daughter shared that our little princess was clapping her hands and waving. I said, ‘Say it isn’t so.’ That baby girl has spunk. My grandson, Royce, now 3, is growing with his ability to see spirit. I love it when he comes to visit. He walks in and stares into space. ‘Do you see spirit?’ I ask. ‘It’s OK,’ I say. One time he stopped in his tracks and was on my heels into the kitchen. He’s always been a little healer as well. Backstory: When he was just a wee little one. I had painful inflammation around my heart. Before he fell asleep in my arms while rocking him, he looked at me, stretched his arm out and placed his hand on my heart. I was amazed and still am. To top that, the other day he stood in front of my Nefertiti and King Tut busts with a blue pyramid between them. He moved the pyramid to the side of Nefertiti. Now kneeling in front of King Tut, Royce moved his hands around the entire bust as if to heal the young man’s being. It was fun sharing that story with Sydney. She then shared that he’s playing the ghost game. At bedtime, there’s always a ghost somewhere and a spooky one at that. It’s a sham so he can sleep with mom and dad. LOL As for Persephone, I’m thinking she does see Spirit. I haven’t noticed it so much, but then again, I’m not around her as much as I was with Royce. She’s definitely a busy one, for sure. It’s fun to witness and be part of their Spiritual development. Sure, I was with Sydney, but didn’t really notice like I do now. I reawakened to my own gifts when Sydney was a small child and showing signs. We had our unfoldment kind of together, but separately and later were class buddies for years. It’s different when you’re grandma rather than mother. It’ s fun to see, allow and maybe not so much encourage, but definitely allow. I rejoice in the opportunity to be part of their development. At this point, Royce is my little old soul and Percy is just trying to catch up to her brother. Bliss! It’s not the easiest to do.
Listen, I’m always in a hurry. Who isn’t in that fast-paced life? The sooner I get somewhere, the sooner I can get somewhere else. Yep, I’ve had a couple of speeding tickets in my time. Backstory: Have I mentioned I’ve been a racecar driver in a previous life? I’ve learned I have plenty of time for everything. And so do you! Seriously, there’s this road that takes you from Cassadaga [Spiritualist Camp] to Lake Helen; there’s an S-curve. I came around one of the corners and hit the side of a garbage can. I realized later it took my passenger side mirror out. Dang! And for once I was traveling at the correct speed, or less. A couple of friends said, ‘Slow down.’ I laughed. Duct tape is awesome, bright pink is not – people would definitely see me coming then. LOL I bought black duct tape and ordered the part, which got cancelled four days later, on the delivery date. Nice. Being me, I looked at the spiritual aspect of this. It occurred to me that I should really let certain situations go that have happened in the past. Sometimes, we think we have already let them go, but maybe not deep down. Introspect. Because my mirror was duct taped on, I decided to take the long way to get to my daughter’s home. Talk about slowing down. After a while, it felt good not to be driving amidst the chaos of Interstate 4. I took the slower route to Bunell as well. Of course, while taking the road to Lake Helen, I noticed other garbage cans hanging on the road. I almost thought to go back to take a photo, and I still might. Hmm. When I received the part a day after ordering through Amazon, we had bands of rain coming through our area. Patience, Lori, patience. Finally, days and three hours later with the help of several others the new mirror was on. I have to admit I couldn’t wait to zoom down the road to get there faster. But now, I really do like taking the back roads, less chaotic. The mirror is black, no longer silver. My Virgo rising ways noticed that it’s a little more circular than the original. It’s my new way of looking into the past. That story is acting on the signs. It’s the little things in life that assist us in making change. Think about that. Working on the little things assists with bringing the bigger things into manageable change. We’ve got this thing we call life! Blessing of Peace and Love Super excited that my sister and her grown son, and also my nephew are coming to visit. You know the jitters or anxiety you get before family arrives – I’ve had them for the past few days. Do I have enough food? Will the sleeping arrangements work out?
Incidentally, this will be the first time they will be visiting me in Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp. It should be quite interesting. Look for that blog in couple of weeks. Yes, they all know who I am – knowing and witnessing it firsthand are two different things. The shenanigans have already started. The other day I was rechecking plans and noticed that I have an appointment scheduled on the same day and at the same time my nephew would be leaving for the airport. The name of the client, Sue, which happens to be my sister’s name. To top that, I was leaving my grandson’s birthday party and the vehicle in front of me had a plate that started with SUE. Love the synchronicity of it. At this point, I plan to share my queen size bed with my sister. No worries. I slept with her when I visited. The second night she slept in her chair. Yes, this will be for many more nights. Backstory: The last time I shared a bed was with my friend, Lori. She was snoring in the middle of the night, so I woke her by saying my former husband’s name. LOL We both laughed in our sleep and roared the next day. I’m betting that Spirit will have some fun while my sister and nephew are here. In fact, I was told that my nephew has decided to sleep at my daughter’s home. Why? Because he doesn’t want to sleep alone in my daughter’s office, which is next to mine in Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp. LOL And really who can blame him. This building has been around since 1896. Lots is going on here. At first my sister was to visit alone. A month or so before she bought her tickets, I learned that there would be two for the visit. I really have to wonder if my sister will be staying with me. Perhaps, she was the one who got the heebie-jeebies in the first place. Regardless, I’m sure we will have a blast. My sister, who became a grandmother before me, gets to meet my grandchildren. I’m so excited. We might go to Disney and for sure the beach. Might even have to find a bingo game somewhere. I am hoping to take her to a message service and maybe church service. I would love it if phenomenon happened while she’s here – you know, a story or two she can carry home. Did you hear that, Spirit? Blessings of Peace and Love P.S. Spirit heard. Be careful what you ask for. My umbrella has gone missing and so has my orange marker to sign in on the whiteboard. I said bring those back, Spirit. And my last reading on Friday, I brought a Spirit through by the name of Sue. |
