Can you hear me? Eh?
They say hearing is the last to go. As we age . . . My sister and I decided that we would send one another’s grandchildren little cards and gifts through the mail. Her grandson is 9 years old. Mine are 3 and 1. I thought this would be fun. I did wonder if her little man would remember me. It’s been a couple of years. I know Royce remembers her because she slept at my daughter’s home when she visited. It wasn’t long and Royce received a black and white cow, you know a Wisconsin cow. There were other farm animals too. I picked up a card for Landen from the bookstore and wrote a little note asking what his favorite color is. I so hope he responds through the mail. Regardless, the next time I send something it will be a crystal in his favorite color. Backstory: My sister has always been a big card person and of course, some type of confetti was always inserted. At first, the confetti would fall all over the floor. Fun! We got used to it though. She’s so thoughtful. And so, I talked with my sister the other day and said I sent the card, which reads ‘Here’s a little love . . .’ on the front with a glittered hand and a tiny sideways heart between the thumb and index finger. Inside the card: ‘. . . Just for you.’ My sister said that it was nice and then dropped the bomb: ‘You’re not going to believe this – it’s Landen’s birthday in two days.’ I’m like wait, what? Hold on. He’s going to get a card from me on his birthday and it’s not a birthday card and it doesn’t have money it. LOL She said she thought his birthday was in October. LOL We laughed. What else is there to do. My sister said we’re getting older, and we forget things. I’m like don’t put me in that box yet. She said she’d slip him a $20 from me for his birthday. The real hoot of this is: I had to call her to get reminded of his name, even though I just wrote it on an envelope the other day. And I’m a psychic medium! LOL I wonder if the box is big enough for everyone! Blessings of Peace and Love

What did you think when you read that title? Seriously, what is it that crossed your mind? We all have an idea. And it’s okay.
I posted something on Facebook the other day that was going on in my life. Sometimes I just post random thoughts. I’m kind of random in case you haven’t noticed. The post: ‘Sometimes you have to be okay with people not knowing.’ I went about my business. I’m super busy – writing, doing readings, working out, teaching classes. Those are my main gigs. We won’t discuss side projects. After that posting, which I forgot about and went about my next task, I received a message on one of my TikTok reels. A woman had said she was lesbian and asked if I was into it. Seriously, I have had men send these messages for years, so I responded that I was not. A day or so later, I saw that a male family member who is married to a man had liked the post. Still thinking nothing about it, I racked it up to our latest connection when he visited. At this point, I’m still clueless. Did I mention I’m busy? It finally hit me when I saw a familiar face in the Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp bookstore. I walked in and he looked at me from a distance as if he knew something few knew about me. Talk about a psychic hit! LOL. I chuckled inside. Now in my office, I looked back at the events that I described above. It took me long enough to figure it out. Backstory: Long ago I was invited to a friend’s condominium on the beach. She brought her two children. One night we all went to dinner. People stared at us like we were a couple. I noted it and she said who cares what people think. That’s the exact psychic hit that I got from that familiar face. You know the stare. Honestly, it’s not the first-time people have incorrectly labeled me. To be clear, I am a strong, intelligent, independent women who does not need a man or anyone to survive. I’m perfectly fine with being with me. I am not on social media to meet the man of my dreams. I am on social media to raise the vibration of this planet, so that we can all ascend into a higher evolution of consciousness. A post to follow up days later: ‘Assumptions are made, and most assumptions are wrong.’ ~Albert Einstein. Get me started on assumptions – two sources, always two sources (newspaper writer), investigate, make a logical, intelligent decision. If all else fails, ask. Thoughts on the post? Wink, wink! Blessings of Peace and Love Change can happen in the blink of the eye.
Most of us do not like change, but it is truly needed to clear out energy. My daughter had this fabulous idea to decorate our porch in Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp. She said she had pumpkins, ghosts and door hanging ornaments. I thought about it. Backstory: Normally, on my door is a laminated article about Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp that made the LA Times several years ago. I stuck it to my door because – it’s the LA Times. In fact, just the other day a medium contacted me to share that she scheduled two readings from someone who read the article elsewhere – all these years later. Amazing. So, I took it down. The question now: Which hanging ornament would grace my door? My grandson chose quite well. It reads: ‘boo y’all’ with a ghost holding a pumpkin. It’s cute. My daughter has a black decorated crescent moon with a black cat reaching for the sky on her door. Plastic pumpkins are scattered through the porch. On one end of the porch and in the front corner there’s a ghost facing outward toward the street and on the other end there’s another facing toward the porch. And in each corner, there’s a pile of cinnamon. It smells divine! I showed one of the mediums on the other side of the building. The bug was caught for change. She had someone clean out the overgrown plants on her porch. While doing that, the person also swept and left a floor fan to help dry the area. A few days later I saw two areas outside and in front of the porch that now have small circles of mushrooms growing. Of course, most would attribute that to the overabundance of rain. I like to think it’s faeries because of the lighter energy. Just the smallest changes make a big difference with the vibration in such a positive way. I kept it going. I decided it was time to get the seats in my vehicle cleaned. I’ve had ‘Betty’ since 2015. I’m generally pretty careful about what gets on my seats. The first stain came with grease from my leftover macaroni and cheese. After that first stain. . . It won’t be long, and we’ll have orange and maybe black blinking lights on our porch, which means I’ll be taking down my white and blue stars - still blinking after seven years. Thank you, Spirit! Perhaps, they can stay – strong foundations are a plus. Blessings of Peace and Love I’ve had a couple of intense weeks. I’m thinking a lot of you can relate. It’s in the air.
I have to tell you, though, when a right brainer like me has to spend more than a couple of hours in my left brain, it really is taxing. Remember, I work and reside in Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp. For me writing is a right-brained activity. Editing is tedious and time consuming and is a left-brained activity, plus my eyes are bleeding. And then there’s technology, which requires a ton of patience on my part. The old ways worked – why change? Here’s some more insanity – social media. I love to catch up with friends and see what’s going on in their lives. Facebook is a wonderful place for that. However, I just received a friend request from someone who I was already friends with. He had 10,000 followers and hundreds of people liking each post. I thought for sure it was someone else. Turns out it was him. This is his third account starting from scratch because the powers that be do not like his political views and posts. To top that, a spiritual account by the name of The Soul Apprentice was shadow banned. She posts nothing at all offensive – uplifting and humorous – just a fun site. She has 180,000 followers and 55,000 likes. Her posts were receiving thousands of likes and hundreds of shares. These days she’s lucky to get one hundred likes on a post. Unbelievable. It seems the powers that be do not like camaraderie, spiritual and uplifting thoughts, or someone else’s truth as to what is going on in this country. Perhaps, a truth they and others don’t want to reach the little folks like us. The important thing is neither one of those people quit. They both keep smiling and continue to help others in the way that they do. I’m a not a quitter either. If I decide to do something, I will get it done. The question is when. Spirit time, also known as Divine timing. So, I do have just two or three more boxes to check to complete my project. I will be pleased to have that weight off my shoulders. It’s a big deal to me. I cannot wait to share it with you and the rest of the world. Funny, the other day I was in my daughter’s vehicle and a sticker stuck to my arm. And somehow it made its way into my apartment and landed on my desk of all places. It read: ‘Don’t quit.’ It’s been journey. I will keep on keeping on for the highest and best until hell freezes over. LOL. I will keep on keeping on for eternity. We all will because we never die. Blessings of Peace and Love |
