The other day my 9-month-old granddaughter, Persephone crawled, stood in front of me and balanced on her own two feet. I was amazed. I could see my daughter, Sydney, out of the corner of my eye. She smiled at my amazement.
It won’t be long, and Persephone will takeoff running. Get that girl a helmet! A month or so before that, my daughter shared that our little princess was clapping her hands and waving. I said, ‘Say it isn’t so.’ That baby girl has spunk. My grandson, Royce, now 3, is growing with his ability to see spirit. I love it when he comes to visit. He walks in and stares into space. ‘Do you see spirit?’ I ask. ‘It’s OK,’ I say. One time he stopped in his tracks and was on my heels into the kitchen. He’s always been a little healer as well. Backstory: When he was just a wee little one. I had painful inflammation around my heart. Before he fell asleep in my arms while rocking him, he looked at me, stretched his arm out and placed his hand on my heart. I was amazed and still am. To top that, the other day he stood in front of my Nefertiti and King Tut busts with a blue pyramid between them. He moved the pyramid to the side of Nefertiti. Now kneeling in front of King Tut, Royce moved his hands around the entire bust as if to heal the young man’s being. It was fun sharing that story with Sydney. She then shared that he’s playing the ghost game. At bedtime, there’s always a ghost somewhere and a spooky one at that. It’s a sham so he can sleep with mom and dad. LOL As for Persephone, I’m thinking she does see Spirit. I haven’t noticed it so much, but then again, I’m not around her as much as I was with Royce. She’s definitely a busy one, for sure. It’s fun to witness and be part of their Spiritual development. Sure, I was with Sydney, but didn’t really notice like I do now. I reawakened to my own gifts when Sydney was a small child and showing signs. We had our unfoldment kind of together, but separately and later were class buddies for years. It’s different when you’re grandma rather than mother. It’ s fun to see, allow and maybe not so much encourage, but definitely allow. I rejoice in the opportunity to be part of their development. At this point, Royce is my little old soul and Percy is just trying to catch up to her brother. Bliss!
