Since I’ve been in a snowstorm – 38 years. How ‘bout you? We got nearly 6 inches, and it stayed. No, I didn’t go out to make a snow angel or snowman. I prayed the sun would shine and melt it away quickly.
It’s my own darn fault. I used a picture of snow falling for last week’s blog. I may have manifested that. LOL. No worries. It’s already scheduled to snow today and Sunday, too. I’m out of here on Wednesday. It’s been an interesting visit to my hometown. Have you ever gotten that feeling you just know someone from somewhere when you look at them? Well, it happened the other day in reverse. A young woman walked into the room and pondered it. She looked at me and my younger sister: ‘I think I should know you from somewhere.’ We exchanged last names and knew instantly we were related. We joked that we should have a mini reunion with all the cousins we’ve heard of but never met. We did become friends on Facebook so there is a possibility. Another cousin, who lives on the way to the airport, contacted us about seeing her this time around. She shared a picture of a red and white scooter my mother had when she was a child. Her name was written on the bottom of it. Spirit knew before I did that, I’d be making the trek to Wisconsin. Backstory: Two people came to my office with one to receive a reading. Names and professions of her Spirit loved ones were similar to mine. I noted it. The second woman decided to get a reading and when she sat in front of me, I saw she looked like my older sister, Sue, and more information was similar. I said a family reunion. The three of us chuckled about it. Oh, I saw the trip coming – definitely not so soon, though. I certainly do not like the Wisconsin winter, although it is a warmer cold than a cold spell in Central Florida if that makes sense. My older sister, Sue, has had some health issues for some time. I am thankful that she was able to come to Florida to spend time. We went to the beach, and I took her to several quilt shops. Her son also came for about week of her stay. They stayed at my daughter’s home and went to Disney. Sue left Florida a very happy person. Always one to lend a helping hand. She was an expert sewer and shared her love of creating with those she loved and with those in need. I will miss her deeply to include those late night (10 p.m.) chats. She had a heart of gold. I told my younger sister if she goes first, it darn well better not be in the winter. My mother passed in the winter. My father in the summer. If by chance I go first, she’ll get to see me in Florida. As a medium, it took me seven years to see my father in Spirit. I hope to see my big sister sooner. It’s just weird to think my sissy won’t be picking up the phone any longer. God Bless you, baby girl! Peace Be with You
