I love teaching others how to bring their gifts of seeing, feeling, knowing, hearing, tasting and smelling forward. By now, you should know I’m talking about psychic and mediumistic abilities.

I teach online classes, always have something starting up. I also teach workshops in Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp. I recently taught Symbology of the Tarot. I like tarot, but do not really use it in my readings.

Yes, sometimes I will be shown a card during a reading and the information about the card is significant for the client. But the act of shuffling, cutting the cards and putting a spread out, will not happen when you receive a reading from me.

Backstory: Just after my divorce I knew I’d be having a huge tax bill since I was a self-employed freelance writer. I worked giving ‘tarot’ readings during Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios. I threw three cards – past, present and future – and turned my gifts on.

So, at the Symbology of the Tarot Workshop when someone said that I was the ‘queen of cards,’ I set the record straight. Yes, I do card draws for my YouTube Channel, From the Ethers, and for my Instagram and TikTok accounts – loricartermedium.

It’s interesting because I have never thought I was doing a card reading.

I do daily card draws on Instagram and TikTok. The length of those videos run anywhere from 6 seconds to 20 seconds. I do a couple of draws that could be close to 45 seconds. To me, those card draws are something to think about. If it fits your life, it fits, and I hope it helps.

Now, on YouTube my card draws on Thursdays run 2 to 3 minutes. And on Tuesdays, I talk about a topic for five to six minutes and then do a card drawing where those watching pick-a-number. Each numbered card draw is a couple of minutes at most. So those might be thought of as little readings.

I guess someone viewing any of those videos might think they are readings. When I do readings, they are either 30 or 45 minutes. And I bring Spirit through and do not use tools – only my intuitive gift and help from Spirit.

I do short two-to-three-minute Spirit Greetings to include a touch-in with Spirit, evidence of Spirit, life guidance and psychic information at the Sunday Afternoon Message Service in Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp.

Backstory: One time on my YouTube channel I actually did a pick-a-number and gave psychic information without tools. I thought it was a little odd and didn’t like it, so I only did it once.

I’ve seen others on YouTube use tarot, divinity or oracles cards and get other information psychically and apparently mediumistically too. I don’t know. It’s just not for me at this point. Maybe, someday. It’s best not to say never.

I do believe some people like to see the cards in front of them. I could see how it might assist with the client connecting to the reading more, to see something physical, or at the very least be a little more comfortable.

I’ve heard some people say they like tarot card readings better because it includes the ‘bad stuff.’ I just have to say, yes, less than good things happen to everyone at one time or another, but there’s almost always something good that comes from it.

And in the end, people will go to who they are supposed to go to, regardless of if tarot cards are involved or not.

I am not the ‘queen of cards.’ Again, I use them on social media to give those viewing something to think about, get inspired, give hope, help someone. It’s what I try to do on a daily basis.

I do my best to learn knew knowledge to assist my clients. I’m always looking forward to exploring new ideas.
