Wouldn’t it be great if people stopped hiding behind masks? Life would be so much easier. Say who you are and be who you are. Have no fear of what others think of you. Just be you. If you’re not you, I’d rather not be around for it.
Is this too much to ask in this world? Be a decent human being. Treat people the way you want to be treated. It’s that simple. Backstory: In my younger years – raising children, keeping the house and working – I didn’t have a lot of time to play games. It wasn’t my thing. Just tell me what you want, let’s take care of it and move on to the next task. At one point I really didn’t like people. In fact, one my teachers in Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp gave me a T-shirt with a few stick figures on it – two on the ground and one standing. The words on the shirt read: ‘Doesn’t play well with others.’ LOL I have grown a lot on my spiritual journey. Tolerance of others is definitely something to conquer. Being a psychic medium has its advantages and disadvantages. One of my gifts is being a knower, also known as claircognizance. A knower knows without physical evidence. Can you imagine? Most times I know the answers weeks in advance. People never catch up. It can be very frustrating. And then there’s those who don’t believe what I say; only to learn later the information was correct. This brings me to a reading I did a while ago. I told a woman that she was going to become pregnant and have a daughter very soon. She said there was no way because she and girlfriend weren’t planning on having children. The thought never occurred to them. Almost a year later the woman’s mother came to me for a reading and let me know that she had a beautiful granddaughter. Her daughter had married a gentleman. Of course, I did not recall the initial reading, but it was great to get the feedback. Yeah, I used to keep a low profile about my mediumship abilities. There’s really no need these days. I’m on the Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp’s website. I also have my own website. I’m out there. It’s who I am. Here’s a good one – allow people to be who they are without judgment. That’s something we can all work on. Dare to do it – be your authentic self and allow others to do the same. Blessings of Peace and Love!

I forgot how much it takes when one works and goes to school. This isn’t your normal 9 to 5 job or night classes.
My day job is being a medium in Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp, and yes, I am a writer. I am also a student in the healing program. Interestingly enough I chaired the Wednesday Night Message Service the other night and got a tidbit from the medium about taking three weeks off to finish writing my book. Wouldn’t that be grand? I was told it would occur in a small house while in north Florida. I like it. And so here I am living somewhere between realms of existence. I do readings during the day and three nights a week I’m up, until when? Who knows? Spirit maybe. LOL I teach a class on Tuesday nights until 9 p.m. This last week I finally fell asleep around 12:30 a.m. It’s the energy. Thursday night I go to a healing class until 8:30 p.m. Still took me a while to fall asleep. The next day I was at the gym by 5:30 a.m., so I could be back to do a couple of readings starting at 9 a.m. I did get a 30 minute nap at the doctor’s office while I waited. And Friday’s healing class went until 9:30 p.m. This schedule will go on for the next eight weeks. What is time? The above does not include services I volunteer at to include healing and chairing each month and other volunteer opportunities. The list goes on. Why do I do this? To make a difference. It warms my heart to help others. And in the process, I am evolving. When going through these types of programs, one heals and grows. Backstory: I was a late bloomer. Didn’t know what I wanted to be when I grew up, although I did think I would write a best-selling book someday. At 35, I earned my bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on Journalism from UCF. I worked a part-time job as a server, went to school full-time, made the dean’s list three out of five semesters, kept the kids (youngest was 7 at graduation) and the house. I remember the good old days when I worked algebra problems until after midnight. I said I would never go back to school again. Here I am back at it. Did I ever stop? Life is a school every single day. Perhaps, I will be busy enough to save money, so that I am able to take those three weeks off to finish that book. Of course, there are more after that. It’s a never ending story, life is. Blessings of Peace and Love! I love this little town of Cassadaga, Fla., in which Southern Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp is within. It’s like a Mayberry with a twist of the Twilight Zone. The conversations I’ve heard among psychic mediums are truly divine. LOL Anything and I mean anything is not too farfetched.
The other morning while visiting with the coffee crew, a conversation started about time travel for a lack of better words. I shared a story and then another psychic medium noted the time he and his wife were driving from South Carolina to the North Carolina. They were to drive through Charlotte in the daylight hours and looked forward to seeing it. A period of time went by and they realized they never saw the city. They never turned off the highway; I believe he said 77. I like that number. LOL Later, he called those that be to be sure there was no construction going on and that he was somehow rerouted. Nothing. I love that! There’s more than meets the eye. Phenomenon. I shared another story about a reading I had the other day. I normally don’t take a family in but felt it would be OK. It was a mother, father and grown daughter. I soon realized their son and brother had passed to Spirit. I could feel that they were still in the healing process. I suggested a family vacation and Spirit showed me the Grand Canyon. I shared and continued on with the reading. Afterward, the mother said when her son was just a toddler, she had a dream that they were at the Grand Canyon. She threw him a red small ball and he fell in the canyon. She had never told her family of the dream. Just WOW is all I can say. Phenomenon. And to top that off, the mother took her phone out to show me a short video that was taken at the grown daughter’s home, a place her brother resided at one point. The grown daughter had put her dogs up for the night. After she left the room, someone turned off the light. The hall light was still on. Phenomenon. Phenomena is everywhere, all around us. All people have to do: Wake Up, Slow Down and Be Aware! I cannot say it enough I love being a medium and that I am able to help others. It is such a blessing all the way around. God Bless each and every one of us! I love my guides. In the middle of the morning, I was awakened, so I set my alarm for 8 a.m., and then realized I hadn’t written my blog – make that 6:30 a.m., as if I was going to fall back to sleep. LOL
My brain raced with ideas. Finally, I calmed myself and asked my guides to assist. They are always there. All we have to do is ask – remember that. In Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp when potential clients call from the sign in board at the Welcome Center, which is part of the Andrew Jackson Davis Educational Building, also housing the Bookstore, I ask if they have ever had a reading with a medium. I like people to know what they are getting into. Most times they have, but when they haven’t, I go into my spiel. ‘I connect with Spirit around you, give evidence of that Spirit and life guidance. I receive information through my gifts of clairvoyance. I see, feel, know and sometimes hear. I can also work psychically. If you’re looking to hear from one particular Spirit, I cannot guarantee it. It’s not how it works. It’s who’s around during the reading.’ The voice on the other end of the line asked, ‘Do you use tarot cards?’ I chuckled inside and replied, ‘No. We, the mediums in the Cassadadga Spiritualist Camp, do not use cards. We don’t need them. We are psychic mediums.’ He had to check with his friend to be sure he was calling the right person. They came down for readings. As a psychic medium, Spirit works with every single thing that you have ever known your entire life. It is the psychic mediums responsibility to grow his or her vocabulary to assist in readings. So I dabbled in astrology and tarot cards. For a period time, I’d give myself readings with tarot cards, who else will? LOL I soon realized I was drawing the cards I wanted to see, so I gave it up. Backstory: One year, in the month of October, I worked as a tarot card reader at Universal Studios. I was in a tight spot and needed the money. I did 5 minute readings for $25, and people paid it all day long. I made $8 for each reading. I noticed other tarot card readers would layout these elaborate spreads. I used three cards and connected with Spirit to give the reading. Sometimes, I would use one word meanings of the cards as a jump point. I’m not saying that tarot card readers aren’t legitimate – some are, but most times cards are used to give the client something to look at. Since I know the general meaning of the cards, my Spirit guides will show me cards at times, especially when people are coming for entertainment, which is not why I honed my gifts. The bottom line is potential clients will go to who they are supposed. I’m fine with that because I know, deep down in my heart, that Spirit will always take care of me. They will take care of you too if you ask, believe and allow! Love my writing guides, who make this blog possible. Thank you Spirit! Blessings of Peace and Love! |
