What does that truly mean? Live in the exact moment that is happening now, now, now, now. . .
If we live in the Now, how can we truly evolve? We would always live in the same state of being, the present. Interesting enough, when I’m doing readings, Spirit sometimes shows me the rearview mirror – looking into the past. Have you ever noticed how small it is compared to the windshield? If we live in the present there is no rearview mirror or windshield (the road ahead) – just the Now. The rearview mirror is needed to remind us of where we have been and to compare it to where we are Now, in the present, and ultimately where we see ourselves in the future. Do we blindly move forward without a plan? When we do, it becomes unorganized and somewhat of a chaos. Another interesting thought, 'Is the present chaos?' We need a rearview mirror at the very least to be reminded of the lessons learned, so that we can change where we are going. The Now is a place someone may need to be because they have not healed, or they do not want to make decisions about their future. It’s OK. When they are ready to heal or plan the future, they will. The present does provide peace in the moment. If you’re truly living in the Now, is there anything else? Or is it a façade that keeps you in balance, a type who perches himself on the fence, not able to make a move. The fence is a great place to be, a place to remain stuck. Maybe some people are stuck in the past. Again, there’s a reason why that rearview mirror is so small. It’s OK to glance back but do your best not to live there. If we don’t have the past, and only the present, how do we grow? Some may say if we are in the Now, we do not need to be reminded of the past. Erasing the past may affect our future. But if we’re in the present, the future doesn’t exist. Is ignorance bliss? Peace

This marks the third year I have been posting this weekly blog. I have enjoyed writing them and hoped they are enjoyed by you.
I came up with the idea last month to read some of my blogs at Sunday Lyceum, also known as adult Sunday school, in Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp. I’ll be at it again this Sunday. It’s been interesting taking a glance back. After reading quite a few of them, I wondered what I haven’t covered. It came to me. I bought this beautiful multi-colored piece of fluorite from a shop in Edgewater. I spied it the first time I was there, but this time I had to know the price. The 4-pound beauty’s resting spot is next to my half geode, the size of a large melon. The crystals are between and off to the side of my reading chair and the client’s chair. The fluorite changed the whole vibe to my reading area. I forgot it was there and then realized later in the day. I felt like I had a new guide assisting with my readings, perhaps, I do. When I was at the shop, I was told fluorite helps with bones. Oh, I so need that. And then I was told it helps to clear negative energy, another definite need. Sage is still my go-to. The card that came with it states: ‘Fluorite is a protective and stabilizing stone, useful for grounding and harmonizing spiritual energy. Fluorite heightens mental abilities, assisting in rapid organization and processing of information, and can bring mental clarity and stability to an otherwise chaotic situation. Fluorite absorbs negative energies from the environment.’ I also bought a couple of bracelets – one blue and white (sodalite) and the other purple (amethyst) – for myself and my daughter. She chose the purple, and I knew she would. When I saw the bracelets, I instantly thought of the wooden rocking chairs on my porch. I spray-painted them blue, closest to my front door, and purple, closest to my daughter’s front door. You know what else I bought for myself – gray fuzzy slippers. If I haven’t mentioned it before, my place gets chilly in the winter. My apartment building came about around 1896, no insulation here. I showed my daughter and she shared she just ordered slippers for herself. I might just buy a television, not that I watch much, but it sure would be nice to have a screen bigger than my laptop. Oh, and then maybe a couch, if I could only fit it in somewhere. It’s odd doing for me. I kind of like it. Give yourself permission to do for you. It’s easy to forget sometimes. Peace and Love! Is all you really need. My little circle includes family and a handful of friends, and we hold one another up. We surely love one another. We support one another’s goals. We applaud successes and we give hugs when needed. It doesn’t mean there aren’t conflicts, ultimately lessons, between one another.
In our little circle, we have individual relationships that affect the whole of it. Situations that go on within your inner circle are known to everyone in the circle, either in the 3D or through energy. I know it’s true. You may ask why I know it to be true? Personal experience. The other day I had the pleasure of being with my grandson who is 4 months old. Boy time flies. I have some inflammation issues going on and am on the mend. He knew it on some level. That night, right before bedtime Royce was a little fussy. I took him through his routine. Finally, we sat in the rocking chair and with his binky, he started to settle. He glanced at me one more time, as if to be sure it was me, straightened his little left arm, reached for my chest, and placed his hand on my heart. I was amazed. I lightly put my hand over his and accepted the healing. He went straight to sleep. Remember, all you truly need is family, a handful of close friends and the connections they offer. Build your circle and raise the vibration and then bring your little circle to the next level to affect an even bigger part of the whole. Keep going! Don’t give up! Winter is here! It feels like 45 but is 50 degrees. No gym this morning. I lingered under the blanket – hence the lateness of my blog. I had a group reading yesterday in my office.
One of the mediums here in Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp had a family emergency and asked if I would take his group reading, which included four people. I said I would even though I’ve never done such a thing. He was grateful and said he loved me, and I said I loved him too. The day started out just a little crazy. A package that was supposed to arrive Tuesday still hadn’t come. The good news I tracked it to Lake Helen Post Office. Then I spied the mail from my dentist office. I saw it coming. However, the bill was a little more than expected. I thought this is not a good start to the day. After an hour of spinning my wheels, I called a friend. We joked a bit about the four people coming for a reading. Our conversation was interrupted by a phone call for another reading. Turns out four people wanted 30-minute readings. I didn’t have time. You guessed it – they asked for a group reading. I called my friend and we howled. Guess what? Those group readings were the bomb. I loved it. They loved it. Both groups were family related (grateful for that) and women. Of course, they had gifts as well. The energy in my office was booming. As I described Spirit coming through, it was intriguing to watch four people think as to who it could be. One time a person knew the Spirit, and another said no it couldn’t be. I said wait a minute this Spirit came through for her then because she recognized. Everyone agreed. I learned so much from these readings. Thank you Spirit! Change is good, and now I will continue with group readings with those who are family related. Blessings of Peace and Love! |
