It’s tough sometimes this thing we call life. It’s our job to rise above situations that take us to lower vibrational thinking. Think positive thoughts. Look at the bright side. The silver lining. Easier said than done.
I like to create affirmations to help me through situations. A couple of my favorites: ‘I cannot control what other people do’ and ‘Everyone has a story.’ It gets me through the tough spots. I haven’t used this one in a long time: ‘I have plenty of time for everything.’ I made the latter up when my leadfoot had gotten the best of me. Prosperity affirmations aren’t just about bringing money into one’s life. They are to remind us of who we truly are – powerful spiritual beings. I’ve said the below affirmations for years. They are by Patricia Diane Cota-Robles. Her website is https://eraofpeace.org/. Reciting affirmations daily is rote learning. Each day is a new learning experience. Retraining our brains to know we are a powerful spiritual beings isn’t always easy. In addition, reciting affirmations is also a meditative state. Say the below three times out loud by reading through the entire list and then again and again. Thoughts are things. With positive thoughts, we can help to create prosperity in our lives as well as in others. I AM a radiant being filled with light and love. I AM naturally enlightened. My life is blossoming in total perfection. I now have a perfect, satisfying, well-paying job. I love doing my work and I am richly rewarded both creatively and financially. I AM an open channel of creative energy. I now have enough time, energy, wisdom and money to accomplish all of my needs. I AM always in the right place at the right time successfully engaged in the right activity. This is a rich universe and there is plenty for all of us. Abundance is my natural state of being and I accept it now. Infinite riches are now freely flowing into my life. Every day I am growing more financially prosperous. The more I have the more I have to give. The more I give the more I receive and the happier I feel. I AM open to receiving all the blessings of this abundant universe. I AM a channel for all kinds of riches to come to me now. I release myself from the belief that anybody or anything can hold from me all that the universe has for me now. PERFECT HEALTH, FINANCIAL SECURITY and UNCONDITIONAL LOVE ARE MINE NOW. I know that release is MAGNETIC. By fully releasing, I attract to myself what is truly mine. I NOW RELEASE. . .I RELEASE TOTALLY. . . I let go and grow. I let go and trust. I know all my needs will be perfectly met at all times. Rapid changes come in all aspects of my life as I open my mind to the unlimited resources of this RICH UNIVERSE NOW. I AM surrounded by Love. All is well. Joy fills every cell in body. Every cell is alive with love. Money flows to me personally in the most perfect way through my channels as I PRAISE all conditions and all people NOW. I open myself to receive all the goodness that I have refused or rejected up to this time. I now rejoice as I feel the arms of the universe embrace me now. As I give, so I gain – As I sow, so I reap. I rejoice in the capacity to give and receive all the wealth which is mine NOW. I give my Love, my Gifts, my ALL and I AM therefore rich, well and happy now. The LIGHT OF GOD in me is producing perfect results in every phase of my life NOW. I give thanks for DIVINE RESTORATION in my mind, body, financial affairs and all my relationships NOW. I give thanks now for my life of HEALTH, WEALTH, HAPPINESS AND PERFECT SELF EXPRESSION. I AM PROSPERITY.

I’ve spoken about mediumship quite a bit so far. It’s time to switch gears just a bit. Healing is the highest form of the spiritual gifts. I am a certified medium in Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp. I am not a certified healer in the Camp. I choose not to be at the time I went into student program, which generally takes four to six years to complete. It does not mean that I’m not a healer. First, a medium is a healer in the sense that we help people. Plus, I am a Reiki Level II Practitioner and Arcing Light Teacher. A hands on healer is a conduit of the healing energy, allowing it to flow through to the recipient for body, mind, spirit healing.
Early in my journey I went to a medium for a reading. During that reading, I was told that I had healing hands and there must’ve been a time when someone had said so. Backstory: When I was about 7 years old, I would go upstairs and rub my aunt’s feet. She used to say, ‘You have healing hands.’ I knew it was a good thing because she loved it. I didn’t mind doing it, and most of the time she gave me a quarter afterward. So when my dad died, I made myself sick. After about a year, I went to a Reiki Master and received my first attunement. It was the most amazing experience. The whole world opened up. It was surreal, larger than life. I healed myself. I stopped at Reiki II because I found Arcing Light. One day a month for five or six years, I was the healer at a Spiritualist church in Orange City. One never knows how those who receive healings are healed unless they tell you about it later. I do recall several times when recipients shed tears during healings. Profound experiences. The frog animal totem is about healing and cleansing. In the “Medicine Cards, The Discovery of Power through the Ways of Animals” by Jamie Sams and David Carson, it states: “Frog teaches us to honor our tears, for they cleanse the soul.” Speaking of animal totems, last week I recall saying that my unfinished book was calling. I do get busy volunteering in various capacities in the Spiritual Camp. And so yesterday I set about mopping the floors. Of course, I was working with socks on. As I went to sweep the bathroom floor, a SPIDER came out and played dead. I’m like really. I stood there and had a quick conversation with spirit. The bleach filled spray bottle became my savior for the moment. The spider ran. I ran. When I got back with my shoe, I saw it and killed it. Questions come to mind – Did I manifest that? Did I see it days before it happened? Or was it just there (for my left brainers reading this)? I still ponder this. On the way to the gym this morning, a group of vultures, or a committee of vultures, were in the roadway, pecking at the latest kill. I thought about the time I saw just one vulture in the middle of a road. That was in Orlando. Surely, an oddity. About a mile down the road from the committee I saw one vulture on the side of the road. Did I manifest that or did I know it would be there because I saw it? And then there was the time I was driving down the road and thought of peacock walking down the side of it. Moments later there it was. No matter our beliefs helping others is why each and every one of us are here on this earth plane. Keep that in mind when you walk through life. Help others. It helps the collective consciousness to rate at a higher vibration. Blessings! I’ve been super busy speaking at churches, working with clients and doing message services. We all get busy in life. We become less aware of our surroundings. We don’t notice the signs. Open your eyes. Become aware of the animals that cross your path daily. They mean something. They may guide you to where you need to be. They are connected to us because we are all one. One of my favorite animal totem stories is the Spider, which means weaving (networking) and writing for me. I’ve been a freelance writer for nearly 20 years. Spiders seem to show up, either on this earth plane or in dream states, when I’m wasting my time in regards to writing. It could be the subject or lack of it. Enter spiders. Nice, right? LOL. Almost as bad a palmetto bug as a totem – survivor. Anyway, most of the time I would see a spider during twilight. First, I saw a baseball sized brown spider running over the edge of the mattress. I’m not gonna lie. It kinda freaked me out. I asked spirit if they could be a bit kinder next time. Weeks later a fluorescent blue and pink colored spider was running over the edge of the mattress. I tried to catch it. Many months go by and now I’m living in a new space. In the middle of night I saw a large spider, about the size of my head, next to my head. I jumped out of bed from a complete sleep instantly, turned on the light and looked everywhere for it. Darn near gave me a heart attack. Thank God I never found it. I had a serious talking to with spirit before I fell asleep. The next morning I saw the tiniest of spiders on the dresser. I chuckled. Since I’m writing this, it must be time to start writing my book again. It’s either that or spiders. LOL. Bye-bye procrastination. I was thinking on the way home from the gym this morning that I need just a little bit more for this column. Spirit did not disappoint. I saw at least seven vultures. They symbolize the life/death cycle, which doesn’t necessarily mean physical birth and death. I saw two sandhill cranes. My absolute favorite. This about longevity and focus. Finally, I saw one egret, which symbolizes standing on your own two feet. When you awaken on your spiritual path, it can be a lonely journey because it alone is your path and no one else’s. This does not mean you have to be alone in life. The meanings above were just one or two words. There’s much more. Pay attention to the signs. They will help you to know where you are going on your journey. Blessings of love and peace! Believe in what you see, feel, hear, know and smell. You have to trust your gifts and then act on the information.
Last week a friend of mine went to a meeting with a friend in DeLand. Everything was on schedule when two gentleman walked in, both from different entrances. Immediately, my friend told her friend next to her to pick up her purse and follow her. She couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Once outside, many police cars were around, and my friend pointed them to the meeting hall. About 12 police officers rushed the meeting and arrested the two gentleman. My friend said she saw black all around those gentleman, and knew she had to get away. Seeing the aura around people can be practiced by looking past them, not focusing on the person, but past them. Another time my master teacher on the higher side of life these days, just knew that something was about to go down in front of building she and her partner were going to. She insisted they get in the car and leave. On the way to the vehicle, several police officers in squad cards came to a screeching halt, police officers jumped out, pulled their guns and jumped on the two would-be criminals. Backstory: Long ago when I awakened to my path, I was doing a story for the newspaper. It was about a women and man who played musical instruments in a room at a local center where people were receiving their chemotherapy treatments. The woman played the harp. After the interview, as I was leaving the house, I saw a white aura around the woman. I’m like what the heck is that? I realized later it was her aura and so beautiful. For me, white is about purity, truth, higher dimensions and angelic qualities. It was surreal, almost like a dream state. We can all see auras. Here’s something you can do to practice. Take a blanket and lay it underneath a tree, preferably one with leaves. Now, lie down on the blanket with your head in position to be looking at the branches and leaves, so the sky is visible. Finally, gaze past the leaves. You should be able to see the aura, which looks like an outline of energy around the leaves. Keep trying. You can do it. Eventually, you’ll be able to see the aura around people. Of course, a daily meditation practice assists. Go to an intuition development class. Ask your guides for help. Develop your God given gifts. We all have them. Again, believe in what you see, feel, hear, know and smell. You have to trust your gifts and then act on the information. |
