This is how Just Jax, an already beloved tipping table, came into being. In case you don’t know a tipping table is used to connect with spirit, proving the continuity of life.
So, on Wednesday my friend and I are cruising to Orlando for an appointment. We talk about how we’re going to practice table tipping with an aluminum table the next day. We’re in downtown Orlando now, almost to our destination. The energy suddenly changed. ‘There’s our tipping table. It’s leaning on its side.’ My friend was excited. I laughed and said that we’d stop on the way back. About an hour later we’re at the place. Turns out it’s a uniform store. We walk in, say hello and head to the next room. My friend squeezed through the small space and handed me the table. I carried it by the base with my hand, walked into the front room and lifted it onto the countertop. ‘We’ll take this,’ I said. The two clerks looked at us like we were out of our minds and said the item wasn’t for sale. Still looking oddly at us, I said, ‘We’re mediums in Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp and this is the perfect table for table tipping.’ Laughter echoed. They knew of the town. I put the table on floor to placed my fingertips on it and said, ‘I can feel the vibration.’ My friend joined me. Can you imagine? LOL We left our phone numbers and hoped for a call. In the parking, after lunch, the phone rang. We could have the table for $50. The last four digits of the phone number were 0333 and all the numbers added up, a 33, and the day was a 33. Love it! We contemplated, mostly me. I had plans for the rest of the day. We were halfway there, so I relented. We went back to get it. This time I left a couple of business cards behind. We acted like a couple of high school kids who just got exactly what they wanted, giggling all the way to the car. On the way home, we came up with the name – Just Jax. The colors: purple and indigo. We’re so excited! That table found us, and it was tipped to the side when it was first seen. The reason we needed a table is we plan on participating in Table Tipping, a fundraiser for the restoration of Colby Memorial Temple in the Spiritualist Camp. It’s 6-8 p.m. on Oct. 19 in the Andrew Jackson Davis Educational Building. $25. We planned on tipping Friday, but realized we needed a new top. It was cracked and at first thought it would only be a repair. I was at the gym and wondering what my friend was doing. I knew something was up. On the way home, I called and found she was at Lowe’s, next to the gym, to get a new top. I agreed. She said she had been sitting in the aisle for a period of time to make the decision. I was already close to home, so I didn’t go back. She stopped by and showed it to me. There looked to be crack, but it was only the grain in the wood. Kind of similar to the original. It’s gonna be great. We’re hoping to practice on it early next week. Yes! We manifested it. It took a couple of weeks, but it happened. I love that. We can all manifest what we want. Put it out to the universe and the universe will conspire to make it happen! Blessings of peace and love!

Last night in the middle of the 125th committee meeting I remembered the day, Friday. I know at one point, I thought of something to write, but then got busy with other things and lost it. Yikes! You know you’re busy when . . . And to give myself a break living in this energy, what is time?
I know I have said this a many of times – I love being a medium and being part of Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp. As I do readings, my gifts grow, morph into something new and sometimes unbelievable, unless experienced. The other day I was in a reading with a female client, such a bright light. I was looking at her face and a spirit of a woman transfigured onto her face. The light sparkled about her face. The woman who looked similar to her, but with shorter hair appeared. It was amazing. It turned out to be her mother. Transfiguration happened to me once before during broad daylight. It was many years ago during a class with one of the teachers in the Spiritualist Camp. Of course I said something at the time. Turns out it was his mother. Transfiguration usually occurs while sitting with a red light during a séance. The person sitting will meditate and their face will change; true phenomenon it is. In addition to my clairvoyance, my clairsentience, clear feeling, is expanding as well. I’ll be sitting there doing a reading and something in my body moves differently than my normal mannerism. It is spirit taking over, which is called imprinting. I sat down across from my client and started fidgeting with my clothing near my left shoulder. I said, ‘I don’t know why I’m doing this. I don’t normally do this. I believe it’s one of my new gifts.’ All of the sudden my left shoulder started shrugging up and down and my arm flailed. My client put her hand over her open mouth and shared that her father was not well, but decided to go to church with the rest of the family. After a while, they decided to leave, so she went to get the wheelchair. When she got closer to him, she noticed his arm moving like mine. She said he had stroke. I was amazed and she was too. Have I mentioned that we all have gifts to some extent? Yes, we do. Women who have children just know when something is going on with them; we feel it, a gut instinct. When experiences happen, we try to explain it away logically. It’s what we do. But eventually, one accepts there’s more to this reality than meets the eye. Do something about it. Grow your gifts. Grow Spiritually. Meditate. Go to class. Life is magical, if you allow it to be! Blessings! I did it myself Friday morning. I heard Spirit say, “Laptop,” and I ignored it. Shame, shame on me.
I’ve been taking care of my granddogs in Port Orange, about 27 miles from the Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp. And so Friday Morning, I woke up, got everything ready to go back to my office, loaded my vehicle and stopped to get a pedicure. It’s when I heard: “Laptop.” I get to my office and yep, I don’t have my laptop. What a pain. A Camp employee said to me just meditate. I asked all day. He said why not. I contemplated, and then realized that I have way too much work to do and I need my laptop. I am the chairperson for the Public Relations Committee and I am a 125th year committee member. I’m in charge of Blithe Spirit scenes taking place tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the Andrew Jackson Davis Educational Building. Drama students from DeLand High School are acting out the hour and 15 minute selected scenes. They practiced earlier in the week and were fabulous. This is going to be an awesome night. Did I mention there’s also a raffle going on in which I’ve helped organize? Let’s everyone take a moment and Breathe, just Breathe. Is that a song? LOL. And then there’s healing classes that I will start taking Tuesday and I have four more weeks of teaching my Advanced Mediumship class. My brain rarely stops. Breathe in Love and Exhale Gratitude. And so Friday, I looked everywhere in my tiny apartment for the volunteer worksheet hours that I have recorded thus far for the month. The student program requires 10 hours monthly. I just don’t know where that sheet of paper could be. Is this a sign? Perhaps. Trust me. I am in thought. I decided that there are more than two weeks left in the month and I got this. Piece of cake, or should I say peace of mind? LOL Things do get to be a little crazy around the full moon, which is today. Yay! And it’s in Pisces. Just what a fire sign needs, a little splash of water to dim the fire. Talk about uncomfortable. I’m a Sagittarius, Virgo Risings and Gemini Moon. My daughter is a Cancer, Cancer Rising and Capricorn Moon. We have quite a few good things going for us astrologically, but Fire and Water? I just went random. I’m exhausted. Every time I get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, my granddogs think they need to too. It’s a good thing there’s a fenced backyard. Sleep. I need sleep. Reminder to everyone – take time for your wellbeing, don’t forget about you. Pat yourself on the back for a job well done. Recharge those batteries every now and then. Just Breathe! By the way, on that little trip back and forth, I had a phone conversation about something that has to be worked out. Maybe, just maybe, it was no mistake that I forgot my laptop and ignored the prompt, although the conversation may have taken place anyway. We’ll never know. Thank you for allowing me to serve through writing this blog. It is one of my blessings! Blessings of Peace and Love! Back to my routine – it’s Friday night and I’m writing this blog. It’s OK with me. I love to write. I actually had a Camp Medium tell me that I was sick of writing. I cannot even imagine. I could be in denial. It’s what happens at times when we get readings. I just don’t see it right now. I love writing and always will.
I’ve been tested the past couple of weeks. It’s what Spirit does. What you don’t master comes back around and when you think you’ve mastered it, it sometimes still comes back around just to test – me, you and everyone. I know I have mentioned that I’m a fire sign, Sagittarius. In addition, my Mercury, the planet of communication, is in Sagittarius, too. Yikes! I am still learning to master; however, I have grown in leaps and bounds. I do not cuss people out anymore when they are not driving the speed limit. I did catch myself putting up all fingers on both hands to show that it’s 55 mph, though. I’ve been faced with some pretty sticky situations in the past two months. I shed some tears in the beginning. It’s how I express anger among other emotions. Now two months into my situation I have played by the rules, been professional and continue to do so. Instead of exhaling fire, I did something constructive about it and will continue to do so. Here’s a good one – the dreaded phone call with customer service. LOL. I’m sure we can all relate to this. I was trying to place an order online and I was prompted to use PayPal, which I did not want to do. I found the phone number for the company (I am a reporter), and was on the phone for at least 30 minutes. The person was trying to talk me through. After putting me on hold a couple of times to get more answers, another person came on the line and got the job done. I didn’t realize it at first, but I was patient. PATIENT! After talking with a friend about the incident, I then realized I handled the situation nicely. Yes, pat myself on the back! I will always do my best in any given situation. It’s all we can do. It’s not just about being more mindful in the moment. It’s truly about staying in a state of peace within, so that we can handle any situation at any moment. Focus on being at peace. Period.
