You know, every now and again one must take a look at what they are letting into their lives, or doing in their lives. Go ahead, take a look around. Is it really something you want in your vibration? Or maybe just trimming down a bit would help in attaining the vibration you want to be at.
I had been toying with the entering the student Healing Program at Southern Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp Meeting Association. To do such a thing, it is my duty to raise my vibration, to bring another level of calmness back into my life. Yes, we must all master living in this world, and still keep our mind at peace. It’s not always an easy feat. To assist with this, I started practicing yoga again, once weekly. I do go to the gym four days weekly. One must when you’re a fire sign. LOL. Seriously though, I really thought about what I could change in my life to get my Zen on. I have to work to live on this earth plane. I’m a Certified Medium in the Spiritualist Camp. I’m also a Permitted Teacher. I do readings and teach class. I’m also a paid writer, a professional writer. I was a freelancer for newspapers and magazines for 17 years and have written a book, novella and compilation of shorts stories. I’m working on my next book, although I haven’t picked it up in a few weeks. It’s because I’m too busy doing. I write this weekly BLOG, which I immensely enjoy. When you’re a writer, people want you to write things – all the time. You cannot even imagine. LOL I am a kind soul. I decided Friday morning that it is now time to think about me. It’s not selfish. Go ahead do it. Think about you. You may go back and forth with decisions. You have to weigh them. Do so while removing your ego. Big thing there – the ego. And so I’m starting to trim some things away, but will add others that are more in line with Healing Body, Mind, Spirit. Yes, in a lot of ways I am already a Healer. A Medium is a Healer, but in a different way. I am Healer because I heal myself daily. I do the inner work. We must all do the inner work to Heal. Here’s something to repeat daily: It’s none of my business what other people think of me. People may think they know who you are, but yet they have no idea. You know who you are deep down inside. I know who I am, what I do, where it comes from. We all have to do what is best for us sometimes. Do you! And when you do, feel that Zen. Blessings!

Change is constant. And during this month it is huge astrologically – five planets in retrograde, eclipses and a black moon – two new moons in a month. It’s been a ride this last week. I wrote a short post about the universe testing us daily on my Facebook page Life in Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp – Mayberry It Is. Maybe some things stay the same and others never change. Hmm. It’s up to each of us to choose – same or change, stagnate or do something different, continue the loop or move just one domino to change the outcome.
Change comes about by going inside, doing the inner work. Be aware of certain behaviors. Being a Sagittarius, I am compassionate when it comes to my words especially when it comes to change. I inspire, or at least that is my hope. I realized about a week ago that I was using a couple of words in my daily vocabulary that I didn’t care for, so I made a conscious decision to change that. I’ve done well with the one and hope to move to the next one soon. I lost those words long ago. Somehow they creeped back into my life. Cycling – something always comes back around to be sure we have learned, or changed, or gives us the opportunity to make the intended change again. I feel a bit heavy right now. It’s the energy in the universe. Energy is always changing. I found a couple of quotes I enjoy. Hope you do too. “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” ― Margaret Mead “The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking.” ― Albert Einstein I am so looking forward to August – Jupiter, my ruling planet, is going direct. So very excited about this. I’ve pointed my arrow long ago. Change is constant. Here’s to August. Blessings! I do have babies on my brain. It’s really not my fault. My daughter announced that she’s in love with the person she’s with and they plan on having babies someday. Good news, right!
She told me that if they had a girl the baby’s name would Andromeda. I’m like OK. She also said that her partner thought they could call her Andy for short. I laughed. I reminded my daughter that Andy is the name based on her in “Two Worlds,” a book Mary Rose Gray and I wrote in 2008. I said, ‘I cannot wait to tell my granddaughter that her name came to light before she was even thought of, and that I have the proof.’ Apparently, babies are in my vibration. I went to the Bookstore in Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp the other day to sign in for appointments. I planned on taking the day off, but changed my mind. While there, I saw two young women and a little girl with long blonde hair. By the size of her, I thought her to be maybe 15 months old. She stood in front the door, so I could not leave. I said, ‘Hello’ and waved. Her mother picked her up. About 30 minutes later I received a phone call for a reading and then another. I recognized the phone number and asked if I was reading for her friend. She said yes. They both came down and guess what, they were the two women, one with the little girl in her arms. Usually I do one reading at a time, but allowed everyone to come in because it’s so hot out. As soon as her mother put her down, she ran to me and reached to come into my arms. I said, ‘I guess you wanna come up.’ I picked her up, rested her on my hip and chatted. When it was time to start the readings, her mother came to relieve me. I couldn’t believe my eyes when the little girl put her arm up in front of us, pointed her finger in the air and said something that meant no. I ended up starting the reading with her on my lap. It was precious. Eventually, she got down to roam. Not a good idea since my place is not baby proof. Her mother picked her up. She immediately did not like it. They left my office. I could still hear the little one fussing on the porch. I finished the reading. It must’ve been naptime because the other woman and her child didn’t come back. That little girl changed my whole life for that moment and still when I think about it, I wonder if we knew each other from a previous life. Or maybe she just needed to sit in the energy. To top it off, I went to Wednesday Night Message Service and got reading from the medium, who knows my family. She said she thought that a baby would be coming around the corner. I smiled and said I know. We chuckled. I cannot wait. Babies it is! Granddogs are good too! Blessings! Angels are among us. It’s true. I’ve met them. Heck, I’ve seen them. There’s the people who hand a bag of groceries outside their car window to someone on the side of road with a sign: “Need Food.” And the person who gives $10 to someone in front of them at grocery to finish paying their bill. Maybe, it’s as simple as smile to a complete stranger that lights their day. Yes, those people are angels, people who make a positive difference in someone’s life.
Then there are those who are true angels, those who come down from the ethereal and become human for a moment in time. Early on my spiritual journey, I worked as a freelance writer for the Lake Edition of the Orlando Sentinel. I wrote mostly feature articles on people, school happenings and other community events. One of my regular weekly columns was a spotlight, which included walking up to strangers, asking questions and taking their photograph. I was at one of my regular haunts, the Lady Lake Library when I saw this elderly man reading the newspaper. I asked if he would participate in the spotlight and he said no. I thought it was odd because I had this gift of just knowing who would do it and ultimately make a great feature. Imagine that. LOL. Moments later like 10 feet in front of him this woman came up to me, put her arm around me and said she thought that man would make a great spotlight. I agreed. I felt like she knew him. She encouraged me to go back, so I did. He said he couldn’t hear what I said the first time. I turned my back for a split second and she was gone. I raced up and down the aisles to find her and near the entrance of the library I asked the person behind the desk if they had seen a woman with long golden blonde hair with a beautiful tan. She had not noticed her and no else had either. I made my way back to the elderly man and asked if he had seen the woman I was talking with just a few feet in front of him, and he said he hadn’t and that he would surely remember someone that pretty, if he had. During the interview, I learned that his wife and life partner since high school had recently died. He shared stories about her that made my heart smile. When I left him, he seemed much lighter. I wondered if that woman could’ve been an angel. Later that night I went to my mediumship class and shared the experience with everyone. We decided she was indeed an angel. A few days later in mediation she appeared on my clairvoyant screen, miniature sized. When our eyes met, she disappeared just like that day. Poof! She was gone from sight. It was a confirmation. Rise above the chaos. Do your best not to live there. Rise above it. Your act of kindness will make a difference no matter how large or small. Acts of kindness are angelic – not so much the acts, but the results. Please Do! Blessings! |
