Are just around the corner. Oh, I’ll be keeping my office in Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp for the unforeseeable future, but I will be laying my head elsewhere in the next week or so.
It’s a little scary, moving – change. It’ll be a 30-day trial to see how it goes, so it could still be considered an option. On one hand, I’m super excited to live somewhere that is not a public place. On the other hand, I will be paying twice the rent. Backstory: When I separated and divorced after 22 and 25 years of marriage respectively, I moved three times yearly for three years straight. I guess I was trying to find my space. I have resided in many places in Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp – eight to be exact, although one was for a week and another for a month. I have truly loved living on and off in my office for nearly seven years now. The Spirits know me here. I just said to them: ‘Come visit whenever you want.’ Now that I’m thinking about it, I hope the Spirits at my new place will be fine with it. I’m only a few miles away in Lake Helen, one of the larger old homes, which I’ve fancied for years as I drove by. I stopped in my tracks when I saw the sign: ‘Rooms for Rent.’ I called and visited the next day. Talk about a room; it’s the size of my kitchen, front room and then some. It will be a lovely new quietude greatly appreciated. I won’t miss the mayhem at Hotel Cassadaga, especially for the month of October culminating for 10 nights of Halloween. I won’t be seeing the friendly flashes from cameras hoping to capture orbs (said to be Spirit) as the Friday and Saturday night tours stroll by. And then there’s the occasional knock on the door well after hours. On another note, I won’t miss the neighbor upstairs watering plants on her porch so much that water lands on my chair cushions. And then there’s that odd smell of a little something something if you get my drift. My clients do not need that. I’m sure there will be new noise. I’ve been told of the trolley meandering through the town looking at holiday lights and decorations. It won’t be blaring through my window since I’m on the second floor. I’ve been driving around my new place for weeks perhaps protecting where I will be. I will be spreading my energy, which may be taxing at times. But because the public is not a constant at my new place, I don’t feel that my guard will be up as much. I am ready for the new Spirits to show themselves. I do know there’s an elderly man who resides in the attic. I saw him several times as I drove by. He knows I can see him. Listen, I’m already talking myself into this new place. It’s exciting. I’ve worked from home for nearly 25 years. This is the next great adventure. Is the grass greener on the other side? Access to a couch, lounging chairs, dining room table, large kitchen and a bathtub are going to be wondrous. Pinch me! Blessings of Peace and Love! P.S. Embrace Change!

What is time? Ha. It’s funny how when you want or need something done, it rarely happens on your timetable.
I had been waiting for my new shower filter to come in the mail. Just a day before it was to arrive, I got the email notice that the item was no longer in stock and that my payment method would be refunded. I ordered a whole new system, and it finally arrived the other day, still way too long from when I ordered it – Spirit Time! Never mind that I noticed my hair was falling out. I finally started using my filtered water at the sink to wash it. My hair is a big deal since I lost it all after my second chemotherapy treatment. It grew back, in Spirit Time! Anyone with curly hair knows how long it takes to grow. Backstory: When my hair was not coming in the way I wanted it to, my daughter sent me to her master cosmetologist. I sat in her chair and cried. She was very understanding and put me in touch with some great Curlsmith products to assist with my plight. I visit that cosmetologist twice yearly in Bunnell. On the way there, I thought it would be fabulous to have someone rub my shoulders. Once there, I waited for my appointment time and saw that someone was giving their partner a shoulder rub. You can’t make this up! No, I didn’t get a rub, but what an odd thing to think on the way there. Anyhow, my beloved cosmetologist asked what was going on with my hair because I lost my new growth on top. She said it looked like it all broke off. I said it had to be the water. She mentioned something about protein, but I knew it was the cruddy water. It’s OK, I just keep going, more determined to grow that hair back – in Spirit Time! I’ve had water and pipe issues for years. Same with pesky termites, which finally infiltrated one of my reading chairs. I’ve been waiting for four years for something to happen there. I went to a place called – Do It Yourself Pest Control and got something to hopefully save my chair. The exterminator won’t be here until Aug. 31 – at least it’s this year – Spirit Time! And then I was to take a friend to the airport on Monday. I had a feeling that the drive was not going to happen. I got a phone call to let me know that things had changed. I took his wife to see him in the hospital. Turns out he had an idea that wouldn’t be going on his trip either. Spirit Time! See, the thing is we think everything is in our time. It truly is not. When things don’t happen for us when we think they should, we get upset or fret over it when we just need to take a breath and realize that yes, everything is in Spirit Time! Blessings of Peace and Love! Everything is in the Details, so they say. Yes, details are huge, but when do they become way too much?
Backstory: I had dental work a few weeks ago, could only chew on one side for two weeks and lightly today. In the beginning, when I decided to have a fruit and vegetable smoothie, I realized I didn’t think about the seeds. Yikes! LOL I told my dentist later and she said, ‘I like the way you think.’ I chuckled and thought, ‘Don’t encourage me.’ Here’s the situation: You’re at a public function and some things out of the ordinary happen – perhaps, something along the lines of a heckler of sorts; however, not in a negative way if you can imagine. Possible outcomes (Cause and Effect) include someone being escorted out, someone being called in to break it up, reprimands at later dates, sore feelings with those involved, which ultimately affects the whole of humanity. My favorite outcome would be that each person realizes that it’s OK to be angry, mad, upset, hurt, etc. But then realizes they don’t want to live in those lower-level vibrations. It’s OK to kiss and make up – forgive each other for out of the ordinary behavior. Perception is huge, as most of us know, but when situations happen to us that test our boundaries, our safe spaces, we may react in different ways than we normally do. Change is constant. It’s easy to forget that. Let’s each of us think of what we can do to change how we interact with others – be mindful of our actions to include words. When situations arise, do not react promptly. Hold space to process the information – you may have to walk away from it and express your thoughts later. When communities come together as one, we now have a larger energy to move forward with ideals for the bigger whole. When one or two people want their own results, this is not best for the whole. It only satisfies those two people and a few involved, which again really lowers the vibration of the whole. As I was discussing the above thought process with a friend, a rain cloud showed up and sprinkled down some light cleansing around the situation. Let’s just get along. Look past your ego and dig deeper to see where your charge on the situation originates from. Forgive. Best to get out of your head. Let it go. Blessings of Peace and Love! That’s a loaded statement.
Clearing the air with the people you love – family and friends – is needed from time to time. Expressing yourself can be difficult though, especially when you have a fear about the response you will receive. Clear the air anyway. Clearing the air in your own mind is huge. We think thousands of thoughts daily. Our experiences sometimes cloud our judgement. Perhaps things aren’t really the way we see them to be. Clear the air – Meditate or get yourself to a place of peacefulness. Clearing the air keeps your insides clean so to speak. Emotions affect our bodies and if we hold them in, they can affect what happens to us emotionally, spiritually and physically. Clear the air – Release mindfully. Clearing the air in my reading area or even your house is a big one – think of all the emotions there. What’s left behind or not cleared can change your energy. Clear the air – Clean: sweep, mop, dust, vacuum. As with most things, timing is everything. Be present when clearing the air. Be mindful of where you are before you express yourself to others and self. Also, try to be mindful of where the other person is before clearing the air. Clearing the air is to give compliments to others and self. Thank those around you for their help. Tell them how much they are appreciated. Not just one time. Often. Most people want to help. A little appreciation brings about positive emotions for all involved. Once you start with this, it will become second nature. Clearing the air: If all else fails, sage your space – it clears everything. Peace |
