Agree to Disagree!

You know what bugs me more than anything? It’s when people think I shouldn’t have an opinion about something and voice it. Yes, I am a Spiritualist Medium in Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp, and I help people. I am so grateful that I am able to. It does not mean that I am not human.

I know I’ve told you this before, but just a little reminder – I am reporter and my Mercury, the planet of communication, is in Sagittarius, which is also my Sun sign. Trust me when I say I have learned to tone it down a bit, but when it comes to something near and dear to my heart, I will pick up that sword and fight for what I feel is right. I won’t apologize for it either.

When I do speak my truth, I get some flack and it’s OK. I had a friend’s grown daughter attack me because I posted my thoughts on Facebook. Her thoughts are that I’m supposed to be acting a certain way in regard to my professions (reporter and medium). I stated my truth fairly and intelligently. She called me names and laughed. I have also noticed some mediums around here, at least one in particular, who is not pleased with my comments. I have to say at least I speak my truth and do not hide behind a façade. Again, I will not apologize for it and I will not hide who I am.

I followed my post up with a quote, one that I have been posting periodically for several months: ‘The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch them without doing anything’ – Albert Einstein.

Perhaps by speaking up, it will allow a pathway to open for others to do the same, regardless of what your truth is. It’s best to express, rather than allowing your emotions to eat you up inside to cause disease.

Remember, and I have to remind myself too, that we made sacred contracts with people before we came to this earth plane - to help one another grow. If you don’t speak up, it may change that sacred contract. Yes, sacred contracts can be broken, and in the grand scheme of things maybe the person who attacked me was a sacred contract.

Even though I have an opinion you might not like, it doesn’t mean that I cannot help you. Same goes for you – if you have an opinion someone might not like, it’s OK. You can still help others, you can still be on your Spiritual Path.
