Have more than Spirit coming out from them. So much so that I slept at my daughter's home for a night or two.
It all started a week ago today. I prepared my hot tea and looked down into my junk door. There was a piling of wood chips. I knew it wasn’t good. I took a pic and went on my way. I saw a couple of peeps in the know. We decided definitely critters, probably a mouse. I already know that the mouse totem is about scrutinizing, really focusing on what’s in front of you. Closets. . . Backstory: You all know from previous blogs that Spirits came from the closet when I was a youngster. I wished it was Spirit now, much easier to deal with these days. In the middle of the morning, say around 1 a.m. on Sunday, I heard a loud bang in the front of my room. I got up and saw a rodent running across the floor into the kitchen. Not good. I’m not sure how I slept that night, but finally did. And so, Monday morning came. I got ready for the gym. While in the bathroom, sitting on my toilet, I saw a rat, as if it had just awakened, stretching its body, and then went into the closet. Later, I thought it must’ve liked my healing energy to fall asleep under my bed. Hours later, a couple of peeps in the know tried to assist. One brought a mouse trap. While trying to figure out where to put the trap, I opened the cabinet doors under the sink. OMG – it looked like there had been a party, a wood chip party and several had come. Must’ve been when I was out of town for a week. Days later, someone called the place under my sink a ‘superhighway.’ Yikes! Of course, the rat was not going to fit into a mouse trap. Incidentally, the rat totem is about new beginnings and change, which I am totally loving. I made it through the night. The next morning, a person came in to cover the holes under the sink. At that time, I decided to empty the boxes one by one from my closet. I don’t know what the heck came over me. Craziness, that’s what. Halfway through, I picked a box up and saw a 5-inch tail. I screamed like a little girl and ran, darn near ran into the person trying to assist in the front room. He grabbed the box. We took it to the picnic table in the back yard. We found the nest with seven to nine babies with their eyes still closed. I prayed for those babies. Mama was not there. I felt so bad for the whole situation. Rats are good for certain things. They have their place, but not in my closet or under my bed – nowhere in my apartment. I slept at my daughter’s home that night and decided to tough it out the next night. Before bed, I heard it fiercely chewing in the kitchen drawer and around 4:30 a.m. I heard it in my room. I mustered the courage to turn my cell phone light on and saw its tail in the corner of my room. Did I mention that rats are also about intelligence? The person trying to assist, and I found that the rat tore up the kitchen drawer even worse from before, licked the peanut butter clean off of the trap under the sink and left a few droppings. I will definitely not be sleeping here until it is gone. Intelligence! Incidentally, the nesting box was one of several from a business I had with a very special friend, business partner, mentor, now on the higher side of life. . . Perhaps this is a sign that there will finally be movement with our projects. She was/is a Rat in Chinese Astrology. New Beginnings and Change! Exciting times! Blessings of Peace and Love
