Some people are so angry right now and who can blame them – we’re still in somewhat of a quarantine; people have lost their jobs – their way of life – and some of our basic rights have been taken away. This is not intended to be a political post. I have done my best to keep that out of my blogs. Why?
Because world peace is what is needed at this time. As I have said many times, I am a Spiritualist medium and a reporter. It’s not always easy walking that fine line of objectiveness. These days I am a freelance writer and coined a name for myself many years ago: ‘Good News Lori.’ It’s all I write. Backstory: On occasion I would post something political on my Facebook timeline. Talk about finding out who your friends are pretty quickly. Trust me when I say my posts were thought out and were not ‘angry’ in anyway. Some people were supportive, but others turned nasty and wrote from hate and anger. Heck, one friend said she couldn’t be my friend because I support something other than her. She blocked me. We have the freedom to choose. Yes, in some instances I got angry, but I decided not to respond. I would delete comments that I didn’t like. I thought, ‘if my friends don’t like the post, why don’t they just move on?’ Maybe because they are angry at what is going on in the world and they don’t know how to express themselves. I decided that I was not going to write or allow anything political on my timeline. Why? Because world peace is what is needed at this time. I support the President Of The United States regardless of who it is. What I do like is the peace treaty that have taken place. I just Googled peace treaty, and do you know what came up? Nothing about what POTUS has done. This is big news. I don’t care who you are. I had to add POTUS in my search to get the results I wanted. Yes, a peace treaty between Israel and the United Arab Emirates and the agreement between Bahrain and Israel. I’m hoping for more to come. I can only hope that this peace will trickle down into communities. The trickle-down effect is a real thing. Backstory: A couple of years ago. Women were being elected to political positions. Women were marching and gathering peacefully for women. That same year two women candidates for the board of trustees in Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp were voted in; hence the trickle-down effect. If we can just get a little more peace going at the top of the mountain, more will trickle-down. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – we’re in the Aquarian Age, which is about peace, love, humanity, expansion of consciousness. The Piscean Age, which we have just left, is about greed, manipulation, anger and self-interest. Those who are in the depths of the latter do not want to give that up; hence the state of what is going on worldwide. As if right on time (synchronicity), I heard the John Lennon song, “Give Peace a Chance,’ as I was mulling over what to write about today. I think we all should give peace a chance. Many Blessings of Peace and Love!
