Giving and Receiving!

Some people are magic, pure magic.

The other day I walked down to the Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp Bookstore with another medium. We put our names on the whiteboard to let people know we were available for walk-in readings for the day.

On the way out, she wanted to stop to buy some crackers out of the vending machine. I waited alongside of her. She put two quarters in. I saw it. The crackers moved but got stuck. I tried to shake the machine a bit and so did she. I wondered if there was money where the change dispensed. She said, ‘Wait a minute, the money didn’t go through.’ I’m like what? ‘The crackers moved and got stuck. The money did go through.’ She went to where the change would be, pulled out two quarters and proceeded to get her crackers. What a hoot! If that is not magic, I do not know what is?

I received ‘goodwill’ magic the other day when a client came for a reading. She had the coolest gold and blue, dangling earrings on. One has Saturn surrounded by a gold circle hoop and at the end of the gold chain a star. The other one starts with a star and at the end of the gold chain a star and a sliver of a moon in a solid circle. I said, ‘I love your earrings. They remind me of my tattoo.’ We laughed. She thanked me and we settled in for the reading. At the end of the reading, I said, ‘I hope you enjoyed the reading.’ She thanked me again and proceeded to give me her earrings. I could not believe it. I tried to give them back. Isn’t that what we givers do? We have a hard time receiving at times.

Givers put yourself in situations to receive. It will keep the balance.

Spirit is always right on time. While writing this blog, I have been speaking with a friend through private messenger. She updated me on her loved one’s health and that she had been handling it on her own for quite some time. I was able to remind her that it is OK to receive. Of course, she knows this. But sometimes, we givers, need a little nudge to be reminded.  

Magic is everywhere! We are living on a planet in the middle of a solar system.
