There’s always been something bigger than me. I’ve got big plans to raise the vibration of this planet. In fact, the planet is in the process of doing this now. It is shaking off that which no longer resonates.
How do I change this world? One person at a time. I first start with myself, which is a continuous project. Then I open my door to anyone who may need a little nudge in the right direction. I’ve been doing readings in Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp for five years – one person, sometimes two, at a time. When I teach classes, I have the honor of showing another way of being to 10 to 12 at one time. Backstory: I earned my bachelor’s degree in 2000. Let’s just say I was a late bloomer. I first thought to be a dental hygienist and then remembered that I could write. I ended up majoring in journalism and thought I would be the next Lois Lane. Yep, I was saving the world back then too. Today, I have bigger dreams and have learned yet again not to share them with so-called friends. It’s not that they don’t care about my dreams, but they try to put a damper on them, don’t believe I can achieve them. It’s best to keep your dreams to yourself no matter how much you think you can trust someone. Some people live in lower vibrations and can’t help themselves to think that someone might be doing something more than them. A few days after what was a lovely breakfast with great conversations I was walking out of the gym like any other morning when I saw an egret on the roof of my car. You know it brought a smile to face. As I got closer, I saw another on my hood. Once inside my vehicle, I checked my messages and scrolled on Facebook to see one of my friends making note of a manatee that had died at Blue Spring State Park. She and others sponsored it. There was a photograph with the post – three manatees and the one in the middle had an egret standing on top of it. Obviously, the universe was speaking to me. I looked it up – egret animal totem. Sure enough, the totem has to do with not depending on others and standing alone, being independent and trusting your own instincts. Some people might be doubters and that’s on them. I don’t and you shouldn’t feed into other people’s negativity, or their thoughts of you not accomplishing your goals. We all have a journey. Who gets to tell us what it is and what it is not? Don’t allow anyone to squash your dreams. You do you. Keep plugging away. Thank-you Spirit!
