Mediumship Readings

A lot of times when people come to me for a reading they don’t know what to expect. Who can blame them? The way being a medium is portrayed on television and in the movies isn’t always an accurate depiction.  
I am blessed to be a certified medium in Southern Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp, which is in Volusia County. The nearest town is Lake Helen. People come to the Spiritualist Camp daily to see what it’s all about.
When someone calls for a reading, I first ask if they’ve ever had a reading with a medium. My spiel continues: ‘I connect with Spirit around you, give you evidence of that Spirit – I see what they look like, personality traits, the way of passing, possibly shared experiences, or other types of evidence – and life guidance. I also can give psychic information.’ I tell them I’m a clairvoyant, I see, I feel, I know and at times hear. Most importantly I tell them ‘if you are looking to hear from one particular Spirit, I cannot guarantee that. It’s not the way it works.’
If the possible client makes it through all of that, they come to my office or make a future appointment.
Being a medium is so very rewarding. I love to help people. We all need help at times. It’s super hard to remember readings, unless there is something unique about them. I had a couple come in for a reading. Yes, they made it through the spiel. Normally, I don’t do couple readings, but they were married for like 15 years. It was mostly for her, though. I saw a toddler running and swimming and that’s all I kept seeing. I described her and finally, the woman told me that her daughter had choked on a piece of food a week earlier and died. I looked for more evidence. The child finally showed me the letters L and O. I said it must have been on her bedroom wall. The mother broke down in tears. God bless that family!
On a lighter note, I did my first reading on camera for a YouTube channel. I have to admit I was a little nervous. There were three extra people in my room – two cameramen and a public relations committee member. Imagine all the Spirits that came with them. The reading was going great. The recipient connected with the Spirits I brought through. Out of nowhere I said something about Rome. I said, ‘You must be going to Rome.’ The PR committee member freaked. I saw her out of the corner of my eye. The recipient brought her hands close to her face and said, ‘Oh my God’ and explained that she would be going there. And then a few minutes later I said something about Africa. The same reaction all the way around. Thank you Spirit!
I wrote a BLOG earlier whether it’s mediumship or psychic information. The latter would be getting the information from the aura. Mediumship is connecting with Spirit. When I get images, I believe they come from Spirit. It’s always a wonderment, though. I love that God has given me these gifts to help others. It is a true Blessing!
