I tried something new this week. I asked people on my Facebook Page, “Life in Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp – Mayberry It Is,” to post topics they would like to read about in my blog. In exchange, I would gift a 15-minute reading. I had two responses – “Soul Journey’s” and “When the Heart Sings.” I decided to do weave them together, as to how they relate to my life, your life, everyone’s life. We all have a story.
The journey. Yes, you might say we’re all on a journey and we are, but then there’s those who know they are on their path, a journey to enlightenment, which includes loving yourself, loving others, being ‘One’ with all to include plants, animals and minerals, being of service to others and finally co-creating with the ‘God Source.’ To get to the above space, isn’t always the easiest. Healing is a big part of the journey, healing things that happened to you and then forgiving others and yourself. When you realize you’re on your journey, it changes the way you look at life. In some instances, you may start having experiences – perhaps seeing auras around people, seeing Spirit, knowing information without prior knowledge, having gut feelings, etc. At first, you try to explain the experiences away, but Spirit will continue, until you realize there is no point. My belief is that meditation helps to grow your gifts – going to classes and being with like-minded people are helpful too. And when you start having more and more experiences, the more it becomes a romance of sorts. Yes, your heart sings. Living your 3-D life may become a struggle. I am a Spiritualist Medium and freelance writer. I wrote for the Lake Edition of the Orlando Sentinel for 17 years. I now write an article or two once weekly for Hometown News based in Volusia County. This week I asked my editor if he had a story for me. Ha, be careful what you ask for. He sent a couple of newsy type stories and I was not happy. I struggled for at least a day. I did not write a story this week, which made my heart sing. It felt good to let him know where I stood and it allowed me to decompress when I said, ‘No.’ I went to the beach twice this week, which also made my heart sing. As we grow on our spiritual path, allow the changes to take place. Life is a journey that has the potential to make our hearts sing. Many Blessings of Peace and Love!
