Your heart center, of course. Some may think it comes from the brain and in a way it might. But first it comes from the heart and then perhaps your brain must decipher what to do with it.
Give yourself more love. First, be who you are – walking in your authentic truth is loving yourself. Having that ice cream or piece of cake without regret is loving yourself. Taking time for you is loving yourself. Think of the ways you can give yourself more love and then do them. Stop putting yourself on the back burner. “If you have the ability to love, love yourself first.” ― Charles Bukowski When you love yourself first, you can give love to others. The gift of love does not have to be a grand gesture – opening a door, carrying someone’s groceries, complimenting someone’s energy, clothing and hair and sending love, light and healing are all ways to give love. “The ultimate source of abundance is to give love for the betterment of others.” ― Debasish Mridha Being mindful will assist in recognizing how we give and receive love. In this fast-paced life, sometimes days run into days – running yourself to exhaustion is not loving yourself. Crossing personal boundaries is not loving yourself. Over analyzing is not loving yourself. It seems easy to see what is not working when I write this, but in real time it’s more of a fog. Slow down. Breathe. Notice what is not working for you. You know what doesn’t sit well within your being. Pay attention. Make change. “When we were born, nobody gave us a lesson on how to breathe—we just did. The same thing happens with love. Nobody tells you how to love—we just do.” ― Connor Chalfant And finally, allow yourself to receive love by opening your heart center Trust your intuition. Allow yourself to receive love. You are worth it! Blessing of Peace and Love
