From changing your mood. But with the right person. As if the universe would send me someone not quite right (lol). Reminder: I am in Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp.
I went to sign in on the whiteboard for walk-in appointments the other day at the Camp’s Bookstore. I saw a couple of peeps I hadn’t seen in a few, so I decided as I walked back from the Welcome Center, I was going to get a hug. I said, ‘Give Me a Hug.’ Her blue eyes danced as she laughed. We hugged and she said that I was not going to believe this but we, she and a cohort, were just talking about who they would allow in their energy for a hug. Love the Synchronicity! I got a hug from the other woman and then a third from the first. Backstory: I first met that two-hugging friend years ago. We just were not ‘huggy’ friends until about two years into getting to know one another. I said, ‘Give Me a Hug.’ I swear I heard her say to me: ‘Finally.’ It takes me a while to let people in. When I mentioned it to her the other day, she did not recall that. Maybe I just heard what she was thinking. It happens. We chatted about our grandkids and she shared the story as to how her grandson caught his leg between the metal bars of his bed. It was either call the fire department or cut him out herself with a saw. The latter worked. I said crazy my grandson wouldn’t go to sleep and he got his foot stuck between two wooden pieces but we were able to get it out. And then she shared another story that’s not sharable here (lol). We laughed and laughed. Somehow it came to my mind to share a story about this person I see at the gym and this funny little noise I hear when he’s around. It kind of sounds like something R2-D2 would say. Once, there were six or seven people in an area of the gym and everyone heard it to include him. So, I walked by him the other day and I heard it. I know, I know I should have turned around and asked him if he heard that. Can you imagine? (lol) My friend tried to explain it away. I said, ‘No, it was an otherworldly sound.’ More laughter ensued. Before leaving the Bookstore, I picked my stone for the day. It read ‘Hugs & Kisses’ – love it! You know, I shared with my Wednesday night online class and with whomever will listen: ‘Don’t put me on a pedestal because I’m a medium. I won’t let you. I’m a regular person, a Spirit having a human experience, just like you!’ Go ahead, strike up a conversation, just for the sake of it! Blessings of Peace and Love!
